John Carey has very kindly submitted a new trick for our Secrets Section. I hope he doesn't mind me giving it a name - Inspired Memories?
Anyway, pop into the secrets section now to check it out.
Thanks John.

Wow, seems like an eternity since I have managed to read my eMails and surf the Internet. Actually, it has only been TWO WEEKS, but it sure feels a lot longer than that!
My Internet connection stopped working a fortnight ago, and despite several calls to my ISP it has oly JUST started working again!
So, my apologies for not being around recently. I also have still got my holidays to take. Work has been REALLY busy lately and my holidays have been delayed for a few weeks (my choice). So, I will have some free time coming up pretty soon.
Hopefully I will manage to get the site updated and get a few others things done that have been delayed recently.
Anyway, time to finish reading all the eMails that have built up over the past twoo weeks!

It is with great sadness that I write to inform that one of my oldest friends in Magic has passed away.
Regulars of this site will remember him as the Acid Tongued columnist from the early days of Connoisseur Conjuring. You may remember him as the Black Scorpion, his friends knew him as Dave Robertson.
Although he has been ill for many months now, he still regularly visited the site and I had the pleasure of both visiting and phoning him regularly. The last 'Event' we visited was the Mega Auction run by the Scottish Conjurors Association in Glasgow.
Rest in Peace old friend, you will be sadly missed.

I have just finished adding a brand new Classified Ads section to the site. The Auction Section was a bad idea as I am sure most of us would prefer to use eBay for any items we wish to AUCTION!
So, instead I have added a Classified Section. In there, you can advertise any Magic Items you wish to sell and you can set a fixed price that you are willing to accept. I am hoping that this will be a better option for us... time will tell.
As with all such things, you are advised to make sure you get paid BEFORE sending off the item to the buyer. You can also add FEEDBACK to users which will help the rest of us in deciding whether or not we wish to trade with the Member that is selling items.
For now, the Classified Section has three sections. But I can easily add. edit or remove them as we see how this part of the site progresses.
As always, any suggestions are welcomed.
So what are you wating for? Click on the EXTRAS Menu in our Forums to access the Classified Section, and please fell free to add your own adverts.

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, things are very busy at work right now... leaving very little time for anything else.
So, I guess you are wondering what IS new?
First, I have uploaded a Trick from our archives. The trick is called, "When Two Become One" and is from Gavin Ross. You can either pop ito our Secrets Section and you will find Gavins Trick at the TOP of the List. Or, simply click HERE to go right to it now.
Over the past few weeks I have also been 'tweaking' the site with various little changes. Here are just a few of the 'little' things I have altered recently:
- The CASINO has been updated several times and now includes a Roulette Wheel.
- The Auction Rooms have been deleted. I have a different idea that I may implement instead.
- A NEW Mini Project Management system has been added. This might come in handy if we decide to go ahead with any projects in the future... for example holding our first ever Convention etc.
- The ChatRoom has been been removed and in its place is a NEW ChatRoom that works with our existing Member list. You no longer have to Login as it Logs you in automatically. Pier and I tested it yesterday and it seems to work perfectly.
I also updated some of our other software so we are using the latest versions.
OK, that's all for now. Hopefully I will get to upload some more tricks from our archives soon.
